The Apprentice has yet to find a studio distributor willing to release The Apprentice due to the fear of pissing off one of the most powerful people in the world – Donald Trump. However, any lawsuit against this might fall into the category of strategic litigation against public participation (SLAPP) suits, and anti-SLAPP statutes exist in 30 different states. Additionally, it should be protected by Freedom of Speech. However, Trump would almost certainly use his power and resources against any studio that distributes The Apprentice. What do you think?
