Despite having first made a name for themselves with their original storytelling, Pixar has recently seen a push in releasing and developing a variety of sequels, to which <em>Inside Out 2 </em>director Kelsey Mann recently defended the studio by saying they are trying to find a balance in original and franchise storytelling. Personally, I do wish they would push a little harder for original projects, as while I'm excited for <em>The Incredibles 3</em>, I think the announcement of another <em>Toy Story </em>shows the wrong lesson being learned from <em>Lightyear</em>'s box office failure.
