As part of this year's TUDUM event, <em>Netflix </em>unveiled both the first teaser trailer and release date for <em>Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery</em>, and I now have a lot more faith in the franchise's future. Not only does it look like Rian Johnson is exploring new tones within the whodunnit genre, but something about the teaser also made me feel less worried about whether Benoit Blanc will survive the sequel, and thus gives me hope the door's open for more.
