While there have been some rumors about Carrie Underwood not coming back for American Idol season 24, I want to see the singer return, as I feel she can grow more comfortable in the judge role with time and love having a former winner in that seat. American Idol showrunner Megan Michaels Wolflick has now shared an update on the situation, claiming that with Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, she thinks the show's is "in a good place" and that "they’re all ionate about the show." As such, I feel more confident in Carrie's return.
