John Wesley Shipp did a great job as Barry Allen in the 90s, then returned for multiple roles in the Arrowverse's The Flash series. In the movie realm, Ezra Miller played the speedster in the DCEU. While I think the actor left the role behind at his best, with Miller delivering an entertaining dual role in 2023's The Flash, the character failed to reach the heights of Grant Gutin's Barry. Over 9 seasons of The Flash and countless crossovers, Gustin cemented himself as the most beloved version of the Flash in live-action, and maybe the DCU could bring him back.
