HBO's His Dark Materials ran for three seasons and adapted the trilogy of books by the same name. This is an incredible series, which is, unfortunately, underrated. I it that there is a lot of material to digest (no pun intended) in the series, which can cause some of the episodes to feel long and drawn out, but the overall story is a great combination of fantasy, sci-fi, and action-adventure. The acting is phenomenal and, if you have not read the books, there is a lot that will surprise you. I highly recommend watching this series in its entirity if you missed out on it. It really is a fantastic journey.
