It's bonkers that the auto-petter in <em>Stardew Valley</em> only has a 3.6% drop rate. I've played over 3000 hours across multiple platforms, and I've only naturally come across it in the Skull Cavern once. I'm always tempted to take the Joja Mart route so that I can buy it instead, but I don't find it anywhere near as satisfying as completing the Community Center. However, I'm considering trying it out so I can have a save file that focuses just on animals rather than crops.
