Sony announced at CinemaCon that Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will be released on June 4, 2027. That means the film will make it to theaters three years after it was originally slated to, which I find to be disappointing. I would have no problem with the 2027 date if it had been announced from the start, but by the looks of it, there was never any chance the film was going to be ready by 2024. So, that initial announcement and such a long wait are not a good look. At least the first images from the movie look great.
