It seems like the consequence of having big-budget TV shows with CGI expenses and famous actors is the now prolonged wait between seasons. Massive shows like Euphoria, Stranger Things, and now House of the Dragon have received flack for these waits. I'm not entirely concerned about it as a broad issue because we're still experiencing lingering effects from the pandemic and the 2023 strikes that have slowed productions. It seems to be worth waiting until the industry reaches a more stable position before harking on it too much, especially since there are so many ongoing shows on various platforms.
