According to <em>The Hollywood Reporter</em>, Thunderbolts* is projected to open domestically in the $63-$77 million range. I would not call those numbers good, as they are more or less half of the film's budget, and the MCU movie would still need to double that budget to for marketing expenses. That said, I'm still cautiously optimistic. The trailers look great, and the team dynamic could surely lead to strong word-of-mouth. I think Thunderbolts*'s success will be a case of the movie having theatrical legs rather than a strong opening.
