<em>America’s Got Talent </em>typically only has one or two golden buzzers per judge each season, but I think the stakes would be way higher if the show only had one buzzer per judge during the audition phase. While it would make using your buzzer that much more precarious, I think it would add a fun dramatic element to the auditions. Plus, getting a golden buzzer would mean that much more to contestants.
