James Gunn has addressed a Justice League movie rumor. According to the director, the rumor that he is writing and directing a film for the DC team based on Justice League: The New Frontier is false. While that might be the case, I still think that Gunn is the best director for the DC Universe's first Justice League movie. With the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and the DCEU's The Suicide Squad, Gunn has shown that he knows how to do right by teams in superhero adaptations. The Justice League needs a successful movie, and Gunn could achieve that.
