Despite the character's apparent death in the most recent movie, Lionsgate is reportedly looking to move ahead with <em>John Wick 5</em>, though sources recently debunked rumors that filming on it would begin next year. Even still, they haven't outright stated they won't be making the sequel, with the ball still seemingly in Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves' court for whether they want to return for another film. While I do love the first four movies and Reeves' character, I personally don't think a fifth movie should happen, not only because <em>Chapter 4</em>'s ending was a fitting send off, but also because the larger world of the franchise feels too rich not to focus on instead.
