I'm all for the Oscars trying to encourage people to actually watch the movies, and I was shocked that the original rule change wasn't already instated. I'm curious about the thought process behind movie theater owners getting votes, though. Seeing movies is one thing, but it's another to be involved in working on them, and to understand the process in some capacity. I'm iffy on this idea.
