I watched both seasons of <em>The Night Agent </em>back to back and there was a stark contrast in the amount I enjoyed Rose in the two. In season 1, she felt far more connected to the plot and directly involved with the conspiracy's stakes. In season 2, Rose felt adjacent to everything that was happening, and it was almost like she was brought back even though the writers weren't sure what to do with her.
