Unfortunately, I think the vampire subgenre is oversaturated by a lot of schlock, but Bram Stoker's Dracula is a standout favorite of mine (1992). I'd like to see more movies embracing the gothic horror aspect, and I'm hopeful for Robert Eggers' take on Nosferatu this year. Some other less commercial vampire favorites are Werner Herzog's Nosferatu the Vampyre (1979) and The Reflecting Skin (1990), which features a young Viggo Mortensen.
