Now that it is September, spooky season is starting up and what better way to celebrate than with a scary movie? There are so many iconic thrillers and horror films that stick with viewers year after year. I love to be scared, so I enjoy a horror movie that is truly terrifying. While I have a long list of films I rewatch around Halloween, the one at the top of my list is always The Shining. There is something about that movie, and Jack Nicholson's performance in particular, that chills me to the bone. Even though I have seen it many times, my heart still pounds whenever I watch it.
