Though this year has seen the likes of <em>Dune: Part Two, Inside Out 2 </em>and <em>Deadpool & Wolverine </em>soar to success, there have been a number of surprising box office flops in 2024 thus far. I think the one that left me the most surprised is <em>Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga</em>. While its predecessor, <em>Fury Road</em>, may have lost Warner Bros. a reported $20-40 million, it has established a very ionate fanbase since, and given there wasn't much competition, aside from Chris Pratt's <em>The Garfield Movie</em>, I'm kind of surprised it's going to continue the franchise's recent negative trend.
