A lot of content from the '90s doesn't hold up today, but not everything is considered terrible. There are several titles from the fantasy genre I am surprised about, though. Even if it's not perfect in every way, some fantasy TV shows are amazingly ahead of their time. The most obvious example for me is <em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer</em>, which is a groundbreaking show for LGBTQ+ representation, and Tara and Willow paved the way for other WLW relationships on TV.
