Throughout the Harry Potter franchise, the Golden Trio had multiple love interests before Harry and Ginny, as did Ron and Hermoine, ended up together. There’s been much debate over the years regarding whether these were the best Harry Potter couples or if some other love interests fit better for the characters. I started thinking about this when Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Afshan Azad (Pa Patil) reunited. Though I don’t think Pa and Ron were meant for each other, I liked the idea of Cho Chang and Harry together, even though they weren’t each other's dates to the Yule Ball.
