It's just been announced that <em>The Batman - Part II</em> has been delayed a full year from 2026 to 2027. Likewise, this is reportedly because Matt Reeves' script is not yet finished. Whether Reeves just wants to take more time to make sure the story is perfect or is having some personal challenges, I truly believe that the delay can only be good for the sequel. I would hate for the movie and its production to be rushed, given how good the first movie was.
