Although there was a ton of hype for the film, <em>Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning </em>wound up losing at the box office to <em>Lilo & Stitch’s</em> live action remake. While that’s a whole other conversation, I think the fact that <em>MI </em>did nearly as well as a release that children could see is a great indicator that it will continue to succeed at the box office, and likely recover to first place after its opening weekend.
