As someone who honestly enjoys a significant amount of <em>Prometheus</em>, I ire the tonal difference between it and the original <em>Alien </em>films. I wonder if there's some merit to the idea of having a direct sequel or series based on David, Shaw, and the world of the Engineers introduced in that film. We see some continuation in <em>Alien: Covenant</em>, but it's almost an entirely fresh cast and felt like more of a tone shift. With <em>Alien: Romulus </em>now bringing the saga back to its roots, I'd love to see other films explore more of the concepts established in the prequels.
