August is here, and in most places, it's still hot, but the newest Wordle puzzle is ready for players to solve. Today's answer caused us a bit of trouble and almost ruined our long-standing win streak. Luckily we pulled it out in the end and scored a Wordle win-in-six.
For those that prefer a challenge the Wordle Hard Mode is always available before starting any daily puzzle. This mode locks in hints and forces players to use them in any subsequent answers. Hard Mode is a great way to increase your Wordle skills while decreasing the number of guesses it takes to solve most days.

Today's Wordle Answer (August 1st #773)
The August 1st Wordle answer is TENTH.
We can it, we almost lost this one, our starting Wordle word IRATE only provided a few hints but that is usually enough to get going. For our second guess, we tried NEXTS which locked in the 'E' and provided a third letter. Moving forward we tried BENTO as our third guess. This is where the endless guessing game started.
It took a long time before we figured out another word that fit around the 'ENT' in the middle, our fourth guess was VENTI which proved to be wrong. For the fifth attempt we tried GENTY, also incorrect. For the longest time, we stared at the game, knowing this was our final attempt, then the possible repeated letter kicked in and we barely ended up salvaging a Wordle win-in-six with TENTH.
