If there were a film that Tom Holland fans haven't seen, it's most likely Locke. The main reason for that is because Holland doesn't actually appear in the film. Instead, he voices the unseen son of Tom Hardy's Ivan Locke, a man who drives from his job to a hospital to witness the birth of his child to a woman he had a one-night stand with.

Locke has a Letterboxd rating of 3.6/5 with many praising the technical difficulty of how the film achieves it's real-time narrative style that involved heavy editing for some long scenes. But it is his emotional connection to his wife and children, including a scene of Ivan having a heartbreaking call with Holland, that cements this film as one of Holland's best for his ability to emote so strongly when he isn't even on the screen.
