Fans of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise were already excited about 1+2 releasing. Assets discovered in the level Skate Heaven, which is unlocked after 100% beating all levels of Pro Skater 1+2, resembled assets found in Pro Skater 3. Because of this, fans speculated it could mean levels from Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 could be arriving as DLC. But would a full game really release as DLC? That seems unlikely, which is why other fans believe a Pro Skater 3+4 remake is already in the works.
If this is true, then a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Remake could be coming sooner rather than later. It could mean the newest Tony Hawk remake is coming in 2021, which could also mean it would likely appear on the next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles. From a business standpoint, this makes a lot of sense. Having Pro Skater 3+4 as both a current-gen title and a next-gen one would be beneficial to both the Tony Hawk franchise and the players themselves.
For now, there's no official confirmation of a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remake. However, after the incredible sales and reviews for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, and since Tony Hawk himself wants to remake more of his games, it seems increasingly likely that a remake for Pro Skater 3+4 will happen.
