Out of all the signs in the Zodiac, it seems like the most desired sign is Leo. Like their mascot the lion, Leos are fierce and ionate leaders, they're creativity and natural charisma make everyone want to be like them or them in whatever fight their up against.
We see them all the time on television, often the protagonist as people seem to gravitate to them and cheer them on. However, like any sign in the Zodiac, the qualities and characteristics of a Leo can be very threatening if they make a villain. Here are the top 10 Leo Antagonists on television.
Ragnar Lodbrook -Vikings (2013-2019)
Although he was painted as the protagonist of the show, viewers know Ragnar was anything but a good guy. From leaving his wife of many years for a younger more beautiful woman, or getting addicted to drugs and almost killing his own men because of it.
As we saw in the show, he is an excellent leader, working his way up to King and gaining thousands of Viking followers, ready to die for him at any cost. His own self-confidence and belief in himself would often be the reason he won his battles, even when it appeared he was outmatched.
Lucifer Morningstar - Lucifer (2016-2019)
For religious or spiritual individuals, Satan, or Lucifer is often the bad guy, manipulative and not at all what they seem. The hit show Lucifer features a different version of the Devil and somewhat romanticizes and makes him a handsome man with a chip on his shoulder after being sent down to earth.
Like a Leo, Lucifer is creative and very confident in his abilities and he carries his arrogance everywhere he goes.
A-Train - The Boys (2019-)
He's cool, charming, and he lives for the spotlight. Pretty much The Flash of The Boys universe, he's one of the best heroes in the world and he's always looking for praise and a chance to show he's the best. After he realizes he's getting older and less relevant, he starts using an illegal drug that makes him unstable, which leads to him killing Hewie's girlfriend which starts the war on supers.
Like a true Leo, he hates being told he's wrong and will do anything to avoid taking the blame, even if it means betraying someone he loves and destroying his body.
Azula - Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005-2008)
After her brother fails to take down the Avatar, she doesn't hesitate to take on the task and quickly assembles her team to kill him. Like Zuko, she was very ruthless and restless when it came to taking on killing the Avatar, but unlike Zuko, she had the assertiveness to actually almost kill the Aang.
Although we saw less of her than Zuko, she still proved to be a much more capable and less emotional leader than Zuko, she didn't let her own frustrations or insecurities stop her from her missions and therefore became a very terrifying villain and a true Leo antagonist.
Bloodwork - The Flash (2014-)
He started off as a modest doctor but his heart and mind were corrupted by the symbiote like Bloodwork that gave him meta abilities. Although he has more Gemini or Aquarius traits as a normal doctor, his immense power gave him confidence and arrogance to demand everybody bows down to him.
He's stubborn and condescending, making his time on Team Flash very short and he's often only looking out for himself, like a true Leo.
Lucifer - Supernatural (2005-2020)
Another great iteration of the king of Hell. This one, however, is truly evil and completely ruthless. Like the biblical story, Satan was once God's brightest angel but his arrogance and prideful, and the fact God shun him as the best angel made him go over the top and turn evil.
He has no concern for humanity and uses his demons as servants, disposing and replacing them every chance he got. He did it all to lash out at God, which makes him a complete Leo. Leos don't like being left out and have a habit of being extremely petty when they don't get their way.
The Night King - Game Of Thrones (2010-2019)
Although he hardly ever says a word, he commands an army of the dead and almost wins the war against the living if it wasn't for Arya Stark. His smug smile every time he saw the living trying to fight his army of millions and his willingness to flex his power at all times makes him a force to be reckoned with.
He may not share the charm and charisma, but he makes up for it with his own self-confidence and will to be the most powerful creature in the world.
Plankton - Spongebob Squarepants (1999-)
We all know Plankton and his never-ending quest to steal the Krabby Patty formula and be the best restaurant in Bikini Bottom. Don't let his size fool you, Plankton has gotten close to stealing the formula on several occasions and has even managed to brainwash the citizens of Bikini Bottom to obtain his formula.
He may not scream Leo, but his competitiveness, his planning, and his inability to take no for an answer make him a true Leo.
Clay Morrow - Sons Of Anarchy (2008-2014)
Clay Morrow is a mysterious character and the leader of the SAMCRO. He may not always appear like the villain, except when he kills and robs people, but he shows unwavering loyalty to his family and his fellow SAMCRO bikers.
He's charismatic enough to joke around with fellow outlaws and he's got a sense of humor, much like a Leo. He's terrifying to his enemies, harmless to the ones he loves.
Madame Gao - Daredevil (2015-2019)
Don't let her old and frail age fool you, she's as ruthless as they come. As the head of the Triad, she is responsible for all the drugs and human trafficking in Hell's Kitchen, and her elaborate plans and controlling everything from the shadows make her a great villain.
Like a Leo, she's confident in herself, she expects the utmost respect, and her confidence never waivers. She may not be the first choice, but she is definitely a Leo.
