While the last installment of Lightyear. Lightyear showed the life and celebrity of the man that the Buzz Lightyear toy was modeled after. This meant that Toy Story favorites like Woody, Jesse, and Ham were not featured.
In August, Disney made the film available on Disney+ for fans who were unable to see it in theaters. Fans of the franchise who've seen all four movies and the prequel have resorted to making memes about the movies and Pixar as a whole. Some are so spot-on that it's hard not to laugh at the realities of this beloved Disney and Pixar movie that sum up the film.
The Buzz Lightyear Andy Was Familiar With
The original Toy Story was released in 1995 and showed Andy's excitement when he received the Buzz Lightyear toy. Buzz was crafted after a fictional astronaut of the same name.

@Abstract.Storm created this meme from a scene in Toy Story. No matter how confident Woody was, he was no match when talking to his crush. When Bo Peep flirted with Woody, he lost his composure and blushed in a way that fans had never seen before.
Bo never showed up in the second or third movie, which made fans wonder what happened to her. In Toy Story 4, however, it was explained that she was donated by the family and now living as a free toy. Woody had some great quotes in Toy Story thanks to being inspired by Bo's independence.
Who Wants To Play With Gabby Gabby & Young-hee?
@TodayIGrewUp created another meme that sums up parts of Toy Story 4. Comparing the Gabby Gabby doll and her henchmen to Squid Games' Young-hee, there are noticeable similarities.
In the fourth installment, Gabby Gabby was a villain trapped inside an antique shop. She met Woody and tried holding him captive so she could use his voicebox as her own as a way to find a new home. Gabby Gabby had two henchmen that did her dirty work for her, which was eerily similar to one character in Squid Games. And while Toy Story 4 wasn't ranked high among the other movies, Gabby Gabby and her helpers gave viewers nightmares.
Would Woody & Buzz Last Through Andy's Lifetime?
Toy Story fans agreed that Toy Story 3 had a better ending compared to Toy Story 4. In the third movie, Andy was going off to college so he donated his beloved toys (including Woody and Buzz) to a little girl named Bonnie. It was a hard decision but Woody and Buzz were better off with someone who would play with them.

@AddisonDixon10 perfected this meme that was relatable for Toy Story fans. In Toy Story, Woody and Buzz were captured by Andy's evil neighbor, Sid. Sid wasn't a gentle kid and often hurt the toys he had. Knowing they were next, Woody and Buzz did what they could to escape.
While in Sid's creepy room, the two toys saw things moving in the shadows. They were freaked out and tried to escape. In the end, it was underappreciated toys that were moving in the dark, and Woody and Buzz had nothing to fear. However, Woody was every viewer when they were home alone and thought they heard or saw something that wasn't there.
Toyson Meets Poison!
@EverythingGlamMetal crossed two very different paths when they added Mr. Potato Head, Woody, Buzz, and Ken to the heads of the famous metal band, Poison.
Poison is most known for songs like "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and "Ride The Wind." And while Poison wasn't mentioned or brought up in the Pixar movie, it's not far-fetched to think that these four wouldn't have created a band in their spare time. Ken especially would have loved to be a part of a band because of the theatrics. The potential of this meme was what summed up the franchise because Andy's toys did everything together.

Nevertheless, the comparison between friend groups and animation was noticed in this meme. Disney went from a group of young boys obsessed with Buzz Lightyear to a group of girls who adored boy bands. Either way, the improvement in animation was noticed between movies.

The Buzz Lightyear shown in Lightyear was the real Buzz as opposed to the toy, so he was mature and capable. In toy form, Buzz was similar but less rugged. Because of the subtle differences, @OrangeFreddyG shared a meme comparing the two to senior year of high school and freshman year of college.
Since high school seniors have been at the same school for years, they knew the way of the land and a majority of the students. They may feel confident going away to college but that can change when they find out they're a small fish in a big pond again. This meme summed up Buzz's time in the franchise because he too was a brave toy, thinking he was the real Buzz Lightyear, but when he found out he was just a toy with zero powers, he jumped off his high horse.

Woody would deny it but he was a jealous toy. @MemesForHomies recreated this popular meme by adding Buzz, Andy, and Woody to the mix.
As Andy's favorite toy, Woody became jealous when Buzz came into the picture because Andy wanted to play with his new toy instead of his old one. Woody did what he could to set Buzz in his place within Andy's room, but it only created more havoc because Andy truly loved and wanted both toys.
When Art & Real Life Combine
Even though Woody and Buzz had a great friendship, Woody took it hard when Andy and the other toys respected Buzz more. In a nightmare, Woody pictured Andy dropping him to the ground with no regard so he could play with Buzz.
This moment became the scene for a meme by @Roplkthetarus, who compared Andy and Woody's essential breakup to pop culture's Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. With news that the celebrity couple broke up, the meme's creator showed that Woody and Pete had a lot in common after all.
