Toy Story 3 in 1999 and 2010, respectively, and the fourth entry of the series is quickly approaching.
Tom Hanks revealed in 2011 that Toy Story 4 was being developed, but the film didn't Toy Story 4 make it seem like the gang stumbles upon their friend rather than going to search for her. It hasn't been officially announced if Toy Story will end with four entries or if there will be a Toy Story 5, but the film does have a post-credits scene.
Our very own Rob Keyes was one of the lucky people who has been able to view Toy Story 4 early and he has confirmed that the film has a post-credits scene. Keyes revealed that the film has additional content during the credits and in a comment, he corrected himself saying there was also a clip at the very end. Keyes' full tweet can be seen below:
Keyes not only confirms that the film has a post-credits scene, but his opinion of the film is also on par with the other break the all-time animated opening box office record.
As many moviegoers have learned by now, it isn't always safe to leave the theater once the credits start rolling. Films have been sneaking extra clips in after the credits for years, but this will be the first time it has happened in a Toy Story film. Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3 both had clips during the credits, but didn't have anything after. This clip, however, seems to just be an extra gag that pays off something else in the film rather than teasing a sequel, but regardless, it certainly sounds like fans are in for a good time when Toy Story 4 comes out.
