Here's every appearance by Timothy Dalton's Mr. Pricklepants in the Toy Story 2 was later slated to be a straight-to-video project, but so impressed executives it was given a theatrical upgrade.
The Toy Story 4, which received mostly positive notices and - again - provided an emotional ending for the saga.
While characters like Buzz and Woody are at the center of the saga, Toy Story has a bunch of great ing players too. These include Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Hamm, Rex and Mr. Pricklepants. Former James Bond star Timothy Dalton plays the latter role, who is a stuffed hedgehog toy who wears lederhosen and thinks of himself as a major thespian. Despite a somewhat limited role throughout the franchise, Mr. Pricklepants is a scene-stealer.

While Timothy Dalton's Mr. Pricklepants is very much a side character throughout the Toy Story films, the short Toy Story Of Terror! does give him a lot to do. This 2013 film sees him and the other toys brought to a motel by Bonnie and he underlines the horror tone of the short. While Mr. Pricklepants does appear in the Disney+ series Forky Asks A Question, he wasn't voiced by Dalton but by prolific voice actor Robin Atkin Downes instead.
It currently seems unlikely Pixar will go back on their vow to undo Toy Story 4's perfect ending. That said, this was the original plan for Toy Story 3, and they haven't totally ruled out a fifth movie. If this does happen, hopefully, Timothy Dalton's Mr. Pricklepants will return, and maybe even given an upgraded role. Mr. Pricklepants has been consistently entertaining in all his Toy Story appearances, and it would be great to give the character more of a spotlight.
