Cody Calafiore itted that competing against fellow Big Brother: All-Stars, during which he finally won first place. Rachel has also competed twice on the show, bringing home the grand prize once.

While it might be assumed The Traitors' Cody Calafiore and Rachel should stick together as Big Brother alums, that was not the case while filming for the new competition show. In fact, competing against another Big Brother legend like Rachel actually hurt Cody's overall game. According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Cody itted in his most recent YouTube episode of The Winner's Circle that Rachel also being cast for The Traitors was not good for his overall game.

From the start of the competition, Rachel immediately knew her fellow Big Brother alum was one of the three traitors in the game. Despite Rachel initially wanting to work with him, Cody knew Rachel is not only competitive, but also "knows how to make TV."

Cody Feels He Could've Worked With Nearly Any Other Big Brother Player

Although Cody ultimately did not see himself working with the only other Big Brother alum in The Traitors' castle, he does feel if it were any other past player, things may have been different. Being the Big Brother legend that she is, Rachel is extremely competitive. Because of her competitive nature, Cody feels Rachel truly wanted to be the longest-lasting Big Brother alum in The Traitors game. Had it been any other Big Brother alum also competing on the new show, Cody believes there would have been a high possibility of him being able to work closely with them. However, he did clarify these feelings on the show and in the YouTube video, and it is nothing personal against Rachel.

Competing on The Traitors was a much different experience for both Cody and Rachel than either of their Big Brother seasons. The Traitors cast was made up of half-reality stars and half-regular people. Therefore, going into the game there were not only some familiar faces, but there were also individuals who have no experience competing on a reality show. Cody, who is well known for his successful Big Brother games, immediately had a target on his back, unlike players who don't have a past game-play resumé. While having played a game in the past is somewhat of an advantage, having fellow competitors already have a premeditated notion about how someone plays the game is also a disadvantage.

While Cody did not ultimately succeed as well on The Traitors as he did on Big Brother, he did play an impressive game for the time he spent in the castle. Whether Rachel truly did hurt his game will never be known; however, Cody did give valid reasoning as to why she may have been the reason eyes were on him throughout the game. Win or lose, there is no doubt Cody is an impressive competitor both on Big Brother and The Traitors.
