10 Maximals, Autobots, And Joes Fighting Together
Using their combined power to take down any enemies
One of the best introductions from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was the Maximals. Their capabilities and connection to the Autobots make them sympathetic to the audience, and their action sequences and fighting abilities make them capable allies in the fight against evil. The Joes need all the help they can get as they prepare to take on their next enemy, including every type of Autobot available. Although many Maximals were caught in the crossfire of the battle in Rise of Beasts, there are ways around this fact, and there are likely additional Maximals scattered across space.
9 The Return Of Anthony Ramos
Now that he has been recruited by G.I. Joe
Ramos' character, Noah, was the heart of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, and if the new trilogy is going to be successful, it needs to capitalize on his skills as an actor. The movie saw Noah grow and develop immensely throughout the story, gaining confidence and taking on responsibility. When the Joes reach out to him in the film's final moments, it's clear that he has moved up in the world and will be recognized for his contributions. Wherever he goes next with the Autobots, it will be with renewed dedication to saving the world.

8 Introducing New Joe Characters
From the existing movies and shows, and the comics
The G.I. Joe films that have come out in recent years haven't had the same critical or box office success as those in the Transformers universe, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of characters and stories to mine from the franchise. Some G.I. Joe characters make no sense for the Transformers crossover, but many will fit seamlessly into the world of Autobots and machinery. Villains like Zartan and Major Bludd would make fantastic enemies, while Scarlett and Lady Jaye would be strong female characters to round out the traditionally male-leaning films.
7 Who The Joes Are Fighting With
Unicron, other aliens, or something even worse?
Noah gets a brief glimpse into what the Joes are working on toward the end of Rise of the Beasts, but there are still plenty of questions about what the Joes are facing. It's implied that this is their greatest threat yet, so Noah and the Autobots would be amazing additions to the team. It would be difficult for the Joes to convince the Autobots on their own, but if Noah decides to team up with them, he could convince the others that the Joes can be trusted and the new enemies must be stopped.
6 The Autobots And Joes In Space
Finally stepping outside Earth and seeing what's out there
What could be gleaned from Noah's interactions with the Joes included a glimpse of an alien spacecraft that the Joes were examining. This exciting development sets up space travel as a major aspect of Transformers 8. The Joes could have access to spaceships that Noah and the Autobots will travel in, or the Autobots will transform into ships themselves, facilitating travel between worlds. It can be tricky to include the wider universe into a franchise often contained to Earth, but the origins of the Autobots make this a natural story progression.
5 New Autobots From Other Planets
New characters, actors, and whatever motivations they might have
If the Autobots and Joes go to space, they will encounter Autobots from other planets. The Transformers franchise has the opportunity to use a wasted type of Autobot with the introduction of Dinobots in Transformers 8. Additionally, there's room for the filmmakers to create new Autobots for the canon that might exist on planets and worlds yet unseen. Stepping outside the lore from previous movies and comics could be potentially controversial, but with the inclusion of G.I. Joe characters and technologies, the Autobots must stay fresh and interesting.
4 The Development Of Agent Burke's Character
Played by Michael Kelly
Michael Kelly was instrumental in the scene that broached the concept of blending universes at the end of Rise of the Beasts. However, Agent Burke (Kelly) is still a mystery to the audience and Noah. He approached Noah and suggested he partner with the Joes on their next adventure, but little additional information is known. This was a smart tactic on the part of the filmmakers because it opened the door for Burke to be anything and anyone in the movie. His character could develop and change to suit the plot, but he will certainly be featured prominently.

Casting The New G.I. Joe Team For Hasbro’s Cinematic Universe After Transformers 7
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts teases a new G.I. Joe team exists, and here is who should the cast of Hasbro's Cinematic Universe as the Joes.
3 Noah And Elena Working Together Again
Their partnership was a great update for the Transformers franchise
It's no secret that Transformers has been criticized for its depiction of female characters, but Elena (Dominique Fishback) was a great addition to the film. She was a smart, capable, well-developed character who was brought to life brilliantly by Fishback. Her relationship with Noah is one of equals who are just as lost and confused in the face of the power of the Autobots as anyone else. Their partnership is instrumental in discovering how to help the Autobots and Maximals, and her return to Transformers 8 would ground the film and give it a compelling character dynamic.
2 Henry Golding ing The Universe
Returning as Snake Eyes and revitalizing his original film
Although Snake Eyes didn't make sense as a G.I. Joe movie, he's still a vital part of the G.I. Joe canon, and Henry Golding would be a great choice to continue his portrayal of the character. Golding is a strong and charismatic performer, and many issues with the Snake Eyes film had nothing to do with how he brought the character to life. It would be strange if Transformers 8 chose not to include Snake Eyes as he's an iconic G.I. Joe hero, and including Golding would tie the films together across universes quite neatly.

1 New Threats From Cobra Commando And Decepticons
The journey and motivations of the villains are just as important as the heroes.
While the heroes might be the characters the audiences root for to prevail, no movie is complete without great villains. Both G.I. Joe and Transformers have formidable villains to draw from, and since Transformers 8 takes place in space, the possibilities for the scale of the antagonists' plans are endless. The fate of the world is frequently at stake in films of each franchise, but expanding this conflict to include the Decepticons and Cobra Commandos working together to destroy the universe would be an engaging story approach.
