Warning! This article contains SPOILERS for Tulsa King season 2, episode 9.The finale of cast of Tulsa King season 2 has grown since the show started and Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) has gotten more enemies, Chickie has remained a thorn in the gangster's side. Even though Dwight killed his main opponent, Jackie Ming (Rich Ting), he'll still have to deal with Chickie in the finale of Tulsa King season 2. Chickie, however, may have a surprise up his sleeve.

Throughout Tulsa King season 2, Chickie has been on a downward spiral. He was losing control of his gang from the very beginning, and he was almost completely ousted by Vince (Vincent Piazza). Chickie has been almost completely ineffective as both a mob boss and a villain for the entire season, but a new theory would make him a major player in Tulsa King in a very surprising way. If it's true, it could even mean that Tulsa King season 2 will end with a major plot twist that completely changes both New York and Oklahoma.

Chickie Is Heading To Tulsa To Confront Dwight, On Vince’s Orders

Vince Hinted That Chickie Could Either Convince Dwight To Work With New York Again Or Kill Him

Chickie's brewing story was overshadowed by Jackie Ming's death at the ending of Tulsa King season 2, episode 9, but it could be very important. One of the episode's final shots showed that Chickie got on a train heading for Oklahoma to confront Dwight on Vince's orders. Vince had deposed Chickie as the head of the Invernizzi family, but he offered him a way to regain his position as boss if he could either get Dwight to pay dues to the family again, or kill him. There's going to be some kind of confrontation once Chickie gets to Tulsa, but it could play in an unexpected way.

Chickie’s Tulsa King Story So Far Is Very Similar To Goodie’s

Tulsa King May Be Setting Chickie Up To Follow In Goodie's Footsteps

Oddly enough, Chickie's story at the end of Tulsa King season 2 is becoming eerily similar to Goodie's (Chris Caldovino) story at the end of Tulsa King season 1. The parallels between Chickie and Goodie's stories are everywhere, and they could be significant for the finale of Tulsa King season 2. Both gangsters were sent to Tulsa to confront Dwight, both went by train, both were growing disillusioned with the head of the Invernizzi family, and both had a long history with Dwight before coming to Oklahoma.

There are, of course, some major differences in Chickie and Goodie's stories. For example, Chickie was on a train because he was put on the TSA's no-fly list, while Goodie has a fear of flying, and Chickie's past relationship with Dwight was much more hostile than Goodie's. Despite their differences, the fact remains that Tulsa King is drawing major parallels between Chickie and Goodie. Tulsa King almost certainly has a reason for setting up Chickie's story this way and giving so much attention to his fall from power. That reason may be that Chickie will take the same path Goodie did by ing Dwight's gang.

Why Chickie Might Decide To Dwight In Tulsa King Season 2’s Finale

Based on the similarities between Chickie's development over the course of Tulsa King season 2 and Goodie's role in the finale of season 1, it seems like Chickie may Dwight when he arrives in Oklahoma. Not only would that be a fitting plot twist for the season finale, it would also be perfectly in keeping with Chickie's character development. He does hate Dwight, but he likely hates Vince much more for deposing him. Chickie probably views Vince's offer to re the family as an insult, and he might see Dwight as his only chance to take back control of the Invernizzi family by force.

Sylvester Stallone's time as an Oklahoma gangster is set to continue in Tulsa King season 2, and the new season is set to begin in September.

Chickie is a lot of things, but among his most prominent character flaws is his ego. He killed Pete because he felt he wasn't getting the respect he deserved, he tried to kill Dwight for defying his rule, and he executed Joe just to get revenge on Goodie for leaving the gang. Chickie thinks the Invernizzi family is his birthright, and he's probably not a man who would crawl back to Vince, the man who usurped him, and beg for forgiveness. He would be much more likely to take the Invernizzi family back by force, but to do that, he would need Dwight's help.

Chickie would be much more likely to take the Invernizzi family back by force, but to do that, he would need Dwight's help.

If Chickie does Dwight in Oklahoma, it would open up a lot of interesting possibilities for Tulsa King season 3. Chickie, as unhinged and unpredictable as he is, brings a lot of knowledge of the gangworld and how to run a mob with him, and he could be a valuable asset to Dwight. He would also be the third New Yorker to Dwight's crew alongside Goodie and Armand (Max Casella), which could open up some interesting interactions between the characters. Chickie would even be the perfect parallel to Armand, and Tulsa King could show them both fighting to get in Dwight's good graces.

Tulsa King season 3 has not been officially confirmed, but Sylvester Stallone has hinted that the show will be renewed.

While it certainly seems possible for Chickie to Dwight's crew, there's another, probably more likely but certainly less surprising, way his trip to Oklahoma could play out. Chickie could feign interest in ing Dwight's gang just to get close enough to kill him. That would likely fit better with his violent nature, but it would go against his inflated pride. If that happens, Chickie may not live long enough to see New York again. The only thing that can prove what Chickie intends to do in Oklahoma, however, is the finale of Tulsa King season 2.
