Quite a bit happened in questions Tulsa King season 2 needs to answer, as that cliffhanger ending left Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) and the rest of his gang in a very precarious position.

While the ending of Tulsa King season 1 did leave quite a few loose ends, it also created tons of opportunities for the cast of characters of Tulsa King. A lot of people benefited from Dwight's takeover of Tulsa, some people were hurt, and more than a few died. Dwight also made quite a few friends and enemies, and they could all either help or hurt his goal to expand his growing criminal empire. Those developments are sure to have a major influence on Tulsa King season 2, so getting a refresher on everything that's happened so far can be very helpful.

Tulsa King: 8 Things We Want To Happen In Season 2

Tulsa King is returning with a second season on Paramount+. These are the things fans want to happen in Taylor Sheridan's cowboy mafia drama.

10 Dwight Manfredi Went To Prison For Trying To Bribe Stacy Beale

Probably the most important thing that happened in the ending of Tulsa King season 1 was Stacy Beale betraying Dwight. Stacy and Dwight had a contentious relationship throughout the first season, as they started off as lovers and became complicated friends on different sides of the law. Eventually, after helping Dwight fight against Caolan Waltrip, the leader of the Black Macadams shot Stacy. Dwight then visited her in her hotel room, and in an effort to repay her for the help she gave him, Dwight gave Stacy a flash drive with $1 million that he stole from Caolan.

Tulsa King season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on September 15.

Stacy, however, saw Dwight's money as a different kind of opportunity. Stacy felt she would be fired from the ATF for conspiring with a known felon, but the ATF offered her a chance to be reinstated if she flipped on Dwight. So, Stacy betrayed Dwight, gave the flash drive to the ATF, and had him arrested for attempted bribery of a federal agent. The last scenes of Tulsa King season 1 saw Dwight being hauled off to jail, which should set the stage for Tulsa King season 2 to resolve his run-in with the law.

9 Goodie Carangi Left The Invernizzi Crime Family & ed Dwight

Dwight wasn't just facing challenges from the Black Macadams and the FBI in Tulsa King season 1, though. In the season finale, Chickie Invernizzi brought Vince and Goodie with him to Tulsa to kill Dwight. Dwight anticipated that move, though, and brought backup of his own in the form of Tyson, Armand, and some hired muscle. Having outplayed Chickie, Dwight threatened him into leaving Tulsa, and he offered Goodie a chance to him. Goodie decided to leave Chickie and the Invernizzi crime family, and he remained in Tulsa while the other two went back to New York.

8 Tulsa King Characters Who Need A Bigger Role In Season 2

Tulsa King is filled with interesting characters, but not all of them got as much screen time as they deserved, a problem season 2 needs to fix.

Dwight's showdown with Chickie and Goodie's decision to leave the mafia could have some big consequences for Tulsa King season 2. Dwight and Chickie are now openly hostile to each other, as opposed to the more surreptitious ways Chickie had been trying to undermine Dwight. Goodie will also bring quite a bit of experience to Dwight's new gang, and he could be an important part of his plan to expand his criminal empire. In any case, Dwight, Chickie, and Goodie will almost certainly have quite a bit more to their story in Tulsa King season 2.

8 Bodhi's Weed Dispensary Was Raided By The FBI

Tulsa King season 2 is set to tell the story of Dwight expanding the reach of his criminal dealings, and an important way he'll do that is through Bodhi and his weed operation. Before Bodhi can help, though, Dwight needed to help him reestablish his dispensary. In Tulsa King season 1, the FBI raided Bodhi's shop, the Higher Plane. However, Dwight saved Bodhi's cash and his supply of weed before the FBI could seize it, which proved that he really did have Bodhi's interests at heart. Afterwards, Bodhi got involved in Dwight's plans to convert the Bred2Buck into a casino.

Whether it's through his computer hacking skills or his weed business, Bodhi will almost certainly be an important player in Tulsa King season 2.

Another important thing to about Bodhi's story in Tulsa King season 1 is that he is now a willing participant in Dwight's gang. Bodhi and Dwight's relationship started off on a bad foot, as Dwight essentially strong-armed Bodhi into paying protection money. After the raid, however, Bodhi became much more willing to help with Dwight's gang, and he even let Dwight in on his cryptocurrency theft. Whether it's through his computer hacking skills or his weed business, Bodhi will almost certainly be an important player in Tulsa King season 2.

7 Dwight & Mitch Keller Opened A Casino Together

One of Dwight's biggest plans in Tulsa King season 1 was to renovate Mitch Keller's bar, the Bred2Buck. Essentially, Dwight wanted to convert the Bred2Buck into a casino, as he saw it as a way to "print" and launder money. Because the Bred2Buck was on Cherokee land, and by making Jimmy the weed dealer an owner of the bar, Dwight was able to secure a casino license. Then, by using Bodhi's money from the Higher Plane, Dwight and Mitch were able to finish their project and open the Bred2Buck Cabaret and Casino.

Dwight's plan to turn the Bred2Buck into a casino also did quite a bit for Mitch. Because he didn't have to single-handedly own and operate the bar anymore, he was able to become its live in-house musician. The casino also brought Mitch and Dwight much closer, and since he's no longer running the bar alone, Mitch will almost certainly become a bigger player in Dwight's gang. He'll bring some serious muscle and experience with the cowboy side of Tulsa that Dwight could really use, which should help Tulsa King season 2 be bigger and better.

6 Armand Truisi & Clara Had Marital Problems Over His History As A Gangster

Dwight's arrival in Tulsa wasn't initially a good thing for almost anybody, but it was especially bad for Armand Truisi. Tulsa King season 1 revealed that Armand used to be part of the Invernizzi crime family along with Dwight, but that he left years prior and started a family in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, Armand didn't tell his wife, Clara, about his past as a gangster, and Dwight's arrival exposed his lies. Armand was able to calm Clara down for a while by being more assertive, but by the end of the season, Clara gave him an ultimatum: move to Idaho or file for divorce.

Tulsa King Season 2's Story Change Makes It The Exact Opposite Of Yellowstone

Tulsa King season 2 already looks very different from the first season of Stallone's hit show, and it could be very different from Yellowstone too.

Tulsa King didn't actually reveal how Armand handled Clara's ultimatum, but it could be very important for season 2. Most of his family problems stem from Dwight, and even though Armand now willingly works for him, Clara's ultimatum could cause some tension between them. It's not clear how Armand's family troubles will play out, but they could snowball into a major problem for both himself and Dwight in Tulsa King season 2.

5 Tina Visited Tulsa & Rekindled Her Relationship With Dwight

Tulsa King is a story about Dwight starting his life over as both a gangster and as a father, and Tina Manfredi was an incredibly important part of that latter goal. Tina and Dwight had a very strained relationship at the start of Tulsa King season 2, as Dwight hadn't spoken to her for over a decade after he went to jail. After Dwight's brother, Joe, died, the two began to reconnect, but it wasn't until Dwight killed Nico that Tina was ready to truly give him another chance. Eventually, Tina agreed to visit Tulsa, and Dwight got to meet his grandchildren for the first time.

Tulsa King: What Did Nico Do To Dwight's Daughter Tina?

Tulsa King discusses a sensitive topic in revealing a traumatic fact about Dwight's estranged daughter Tina connected to Nico, but what happened?

Based on the trailer for Tulsa King season 2, it looks like Tina will continue to foster her relationship with Dwight even after the arrest. Some scenes in the trailer showed Dwight with his grandchildren, which could be an indication that Tina decided to stay in Tulsa. At the very least, Tina will continue to be a big part of Tulsa King, and she should give Dwight plenty of opportunities to be a better father than he was.

4 Chickie Killed Pete & Took Over The Invernizzi Crime Family

In one of the most shocking twists of Tulsa King season 1, Chickie became the head of the Invernizzi crime family by betraying his own father. After learning that Pete was recovering from his stroke and other health concerns, Chickie decided to expedite the process of his death by drowning Pete in a bathtub. As Pete's son, Chickie was the heir to the Invernizzi crime family, and he took control of the mafia. Though murdering his father gave him control of the mob, Chickie's issues didn't end there, as he also had to contend with Dwight.

It's also important to note that Chickie decision to kill Pete was the culmination of several increasingly unhinged decisions he made throughout Tulsa King season 1. Chickie began the season as a relatively normal, albeit angry, underboss to Pete. By the end of the season, however, he had shed his wig, made several moves behind Pete's back - like mugging Tina's husband - before killing his father, and began letting his rage out on some of his capos. That put the mafia in a precarious position, and Tulsa King season 2 will almost certainly continue Chickie's descent into more unhinged and violent behavior.

3 Dwight & Margaret Devereaux Started Dating

Dwight and Stacy's relationship was basically doomed to fail, considering how their work set them on opposite sides of the law. Eventually, Dwight moved on and found a new romantic interest in Margaret Devereaux, the owner of the Fennario Ranch where Armand worked. Though Dwight initially introduced himself as a private investigator, Margaret quickly saw through his act and called him out on it. After Dwight brought his horse, Pilot, to stay at the ranch, she offered to buy him dinner, and the two hit it off quite quickly.

It should also be interesting to see how Margaret reacts to the news of Dwight's arrest, and the revelation that he's a high-level gangster.

Now that Stacy betrayed Dwight at the end of Tulsa King season 1, there's almost definitely no way they'll get back together. That leaves the door wide open for Tulsa King season 2 to explore Dwight and Margaret's relationship even further, and to see how they influence each other. It should also be interesting to see how Margaret reacts to the news of Dwight's arrest, and the revelation that he's a high-level gangster. Given the way Margaret has seen through Dwight in the past, though, it seems like she may be around for quite a bit of Tulsa King season 2.

2 Tyson's Father Had Some Issues With Him Working For Dwight

Tulsa King season 1 was filled with emotional moments, from the funeral for Dwight's brother to him reuniting with Tina, but one of the most heartbreaking stories was focused on Tyson. Over the course of the season, viewers learned that Tyson had previously dropped out of college, and that his father, Mark, seriously disapproved of his decision to work for Dwight. The father and son duo had some ups and downs in that decision - Mark kicked Tyson out of the house at one point, but he also helped Dwight's gang fight the Black Macadams at the festival - but they weren't able to settle their differences.

In the finale of Tulsa King season 1, Tyson and Mark reached an ime. Tyson refused to stop working for Dwight, and Mark refused to accept that his son was a gangster. So, Tyson doubled down on his job, moved out, and he shared an emotional farewell hug with Mark before he did. Tyson's new identity as a true gangster will surely be a plot point in Tulsa King season 2, and Mark could even return to try to get Tyson to quit the criminal life again.

1 Dwight's Gang Killed Caolan Waltrip & The Black Macadams

Aside from Stacy Beale betraying Dwight, one of the biggest things to happen at the end of Tulsa King season 1 was the final showdown with Caolan Waltrip and the Black Macadams. Caolan and the Black Macadams were a thorn in Dwight's side throughout the entire first season: they bribed the police into arresting Tyson, they kidnapped Bodhi, and they shot up the Bred2Buck, among many other things. Their conflict with Dwight came to a head when they attacked the bar, and Dwight's gang handily wiped out the entire biker gang.
