Taylor Sheridan's hit gangster series Tulsa King finally returned for its sophomore season in 2024, and now a third season is coming soon. Debuting in 2022 and developed by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, Tulsa King concerns disgraced former mafioso Dwight "The General" Manfredi who is exiled to Oklahoma where he begins to establish his own criminal enterprise. Anchored by Sylvester Stallone in his first major TV role, Tulsa King combines the neo-Western excitement of Sheridan's oeuvre with the added flair of the gangster genre for an interesting result. A second season was quickly announced, but delays hampered its progress.
Fortunately, Tulsa King season 2 finally did arrive in September 2024, and the series didn't miss a beat as The General returned with a heap of new trouble to deal with. The arrival of rival criminal enterprises threatens Dwight's burgeoning empire, and he has to use his unique set of skills to dispatch those who want to muscle in on his territory. With a name like Sylvester Stallone attached to the cast of Tulsa King, the chance of a third season was never off the table. Now, news is starting to pour in regarding the crime drama's return.

Tulsa King Season 3 Story Details
Who Put Dwight On The Payroll At The End Of Season 2?
The ending of Tulsa King season 2 was a twist-filled roller-coaster ride, and it left a lot of things unresolved going into season 3. First, the death of Chickie is going to leave a power vacuum within the New York mob scene, and that isn't good for Dwight's latest turn to the right side of the law. Elsewhere, Dwight managed to legally take Cal's weed farm, but it seems unlikely that the well-connected businessman is going to let that slide. Even if Dwight was willing to play by the rules (sort of), Cal might not.
it seems as if The General really has tried to walk the straight-and-narrow, but crime ultimately doesn't pay
Speaking of Dwight's legitimate business interests in Tulsa King, it seems as if The General really has tried to walk the straight-and-narrow, but crime ultimately doesn't pay. Though his businesses are legit, he used some illegal methods to attain them, and his past will certainly come back to haunt him. Perhaps the most pressing question of all is who kidnapped Dwight in the season finale, and it remains to be seen if it's a government agency that has enlisted him, or some off-the-books operation.
