The original developers of Turok had three games planned that were eventually canceled: an untitled Turok Game Boy Advance game, an untitled Turok: Evolution sequel, and Turok 2, which was canceled mid-development.
In Turok: Origins, an aggressive alien threat looms, threatening to destroy all humanity throughout the universe. Players will visit different planets, traveling through ancient temples, wasteland canyons, and dense jungles, as well as swamps and caves. Turok: Origins will be available for most players to enjoy. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Sadly, it has not been confirmed as a release on the Nintendo Switch, which is surprising as the franchise started as a N64 game. However, if you’re a fan of handhelds, you’ll be able to play it on systems like the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally.
No official release date has been confirmed for Turok: Origins yet. However, players can add the game to their wishlist on Steam or their desired devices. Then, once it’s released, players with the game on their wishlist will be notified.
