What About President John Keeler?

President Keeler in 24

Geoff Pierson has played a president more times than even he can . And when he's not playing a president, he still plays the boss of a government agency. In 24, Pierson played President John Keeler. During the events of Day 4, tragedy hit him when a disgraced Air Force veteran stole a stealth fighter and fired at Air Force One.

Even though an escort fighter jet blocked the president's plane from getting a direct hit, the escort fighter jet still exploded, causing damage to Air Force One at the same time. The plane crashed, badly injuring the president. The cabinet thus voted to invoke the 25th Amendment and have Vice President Charles Logan take over. Keeler was never mentioned again after that.

Why Wasn't There Any Backlash After Logan Was Pardoned?

Charles Logan in 24

After serving a brief sentence under house arrest, President Noah Daniels pardoned Logan for his many crimes including colluding with terrorists, having a hand in David Palmer's death as well as his sponsorship of the Sentox nerve gas conspiracy

It's strange that there was no public outrage after he was pardoned. Given that he was a Republican, why didn't the Democrats say anything about it either? Logan wasn't a popular president, so the fact that everyone was okay with him being pardoned felt kinda odd.

During a Reddit Q&A, 24 writers Manny Coto and Evan Katz revealed that Aaron Pierce is doing well and that he's actually taking care of Martha. Does "taking care of" mean dating?

How Did Secret Service Fail To Notice David Palmer's Shooter?

David Palmer: Black TV and movie Presidents

Many presidents served during the show's run but David Palmer was arguably the best. The fictional first African-American president was played by Dennis Haysbert who made a name for himself alongside Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in their 1995 classic heist movie.

At the beginning of Day 5, David Palmer was having a chat with his brother Wayner when he was assassinated by a hitman named Conrad Haas to prevent him from exposing a major government conspiracy. Conrad was shown to be in an open area when he shot Palmer so why didn't any of the hawk-eyes secret service agents notice him?

Where Was Wayne Palmer's Family?

President Wayne Palmer in 24

David Palmer's tenure was followed by a disastrous Richard Nixon type of presidency courtesy of Charles Logan. Luckily, David's younger brother Wayne Palmer took over the White House and tried to bring things back in order. He wasn't as good as his brother but he tried.

An important thing to note is that Wayne always wore a wedding ring. It was implied that he had a family but this was never addressed fully. Unlike his brother David who had a shaky relationship with Sherry, Wayne operated without the First Lady. Where was she?
