Anybody who purchases Black Ops: Cold War during Season 3 will gain access to Captain Price as well. Players that have already purchased the game need to sign in to claim their free reward. Call of Duty's official website clarifies that players must sign in to Black Ops: Cold War BEFORE they sign into Call of Duty: Warzone if they want to use Cold War's Captain Price character model.

Captain Price now s the ranks of Frank Woods as the only two operators to have two different character models for use in Warzone.

The History of Captain Price

Players have known Captain Price since the original Modern Warfare released in 2007. Since then, Price has made appearances in Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. Price also found his way into Call of Duty: Blackout Mode as a reward for players that pre-ordered Modern Warfare.

A member of the 22nd SAS regiment in British special Forces, Captain Price, has been dealing in world affairs for his entire adult life. It's no wonder that every time something goes down, Price is there to clean it up. However, it will be interesting to see if Price maintains his 'Captain' rank in Black Ops: Cold War. Here's why.

back to 'All Ghillied Up,' the flashback sniper mission from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, when then-Lieutenant Price was under the command of Captain MacMillian. Together they were tasked to assassinate Imran Zakhaev in Chernobyl. The year is 1996. Black Ops: Cold War takes place between 1981 and 1984. Therefore, it's safe to assume that Price was still rising in the ranks of British Special Forces. Will he be called John Price? Private Price? Lieutenant Price? We'll have to wait and see.
