Anybody who purchases Black Ops: Cold War during Season 3 will gain access to Captain Price as well. Players that have already purchased the game need to sign in to claim their free reward. Call of Duty's official website clarifies that players must sign in to Black Ops: Cold War BEFORE they sign into Call of Duty: Warzone if they want to use Cold War's Captain Price character model.

The History of Captain Price
Players have known Captain Price since the original Modern Warfare released in 2007. Since then, Price has made appearances in Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. Price also found his way into Call of Duty: Blackout Mode as a reward for players that pre-ordered Modern Warfare.
A member of the 22nd SAS regiment in British special Forces, Captain Price, has been dealing in world affairs for his entire adult life.
