The newest DLC for Dead Cells, Return to Castlevania, is out, and with it come a number of fun goodies such as the Simon and Dracula Outfits. These are cool and fun items for players to wear as they around both the Castlevania Biomes, and the wider Biomes of the main Dead Cells game. They can pretend to be Simon Belmont, the great Vampire Hunter, or Dracula, the most famous of Vampires in the entire setting.
Outfits are, arguably, one of the core parts of the Dead Cells gameplay experience. They allow players to customize The Prisoner's look and even roleplay -to an extent- as another character. Like the outfit for freeing Maria Renard in Return to Castlevania, the Simon and Dracula outfits are locked behind certain exploration and combat milestones. Of special interest is the fact that there are six different variations of a 'Dracula' Outfit for players to obtain.
How To Unlock Dead Cells' Simon And Dracula Outfits
Simon is the more straightforward outfit. Players exploring the second Biome in Return to Castlevania, Dracula's Castle Biome, should keep a sharp eye out for lore rooms. The one they're looking for has a big mask with a red left eye bleeding a whole river of blood. This means players won't get the outfit on their first run.
There are some rumors that this room can be found after finding the Clock Tower in Dead Cells, but this seems to just be a rumor.
Of more interest, however, are the six different Dracula Outfits players can obtain from beating the legendary vampire themselves. First, there is the plain, regular 'Dracula Outfit,' which is a reward for beating the boss fight. Easier said then done, and that's not even ing for the other five outfits.
The five variant Dracula Outfits, called the Mathias Cronqvist Outfit, the Doctor Dracula Outfit, the Pompous Dracula Outfit, the Vigilante Dracula Outfit, and the Flawless Dracula Outfit, are all rewards for beating harder versions of Dracula.
The first four variants are rewarded for having one, two, three, and four Boss Stem Cells active, while the Flawless Dracula Outfit requires the player to take no damage while still winning. Keep in mind this is Dracula, who makes Death, even in a Dead Cells DLC, look like a chump.
