In Hello Kitty Island Adventure, players can unlock and upgrade the Soda Machine, which allows them to make all sorts of fizzy beverages for their friends around the island. Unfortunately, unlocking this appliance requires a good bit of progress as the start of unlocking this object lies in first befriending Pompompurin.
As stated, Pompompurin is the first step in unlocking the soda machine; unfortunately, he resides in the Oasis on the far North end of the map, which players will need to reach in order to interact with him. After reaching a specific level of friendship, he will present the Dessert-ed Boat quest, which is the first step in unlocking the Soda Machine.
How To Get The Soda Recipe
To get the Soda Recipe, players will need first to complete the Dessert-ed Boat quest and fix the Dessert Machine. Unlike the Espresso Machine in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, players will need to hunt down the materials to repair it. Pompompurin will first need some Fizzy Ore, which will be found in a nearby mine. It will be marked on the map, so head to the cave entrance. There will be a switch to initiate a mine cart ride, which can be confusing. But this is where Fizzy Ore can be collected. Go back to speak to Pompompurin, and he will then realize his Dessert Machine needs a Fizzy Crystal, not Fizzy Ore.
Speak to Chococat, who will mention a new crafting table near Pompompurin. Meet him over there, and he will hand over the Fizzy Crystal plans for players to craft. Craft at least one and then take it to the Dessert Machine to repair it. Once that is fixed, players can freely use the Dessert Machine. Head outside to find Keroppi, as he should have wandered to the area. He will be in desperate need of a cold refreshment and will willingly hand over the Soda Recipe for use at the Soda Machine.
If Keroppi doesn't seem to have wandered over from the Spooky Swamp, it's likely because he has a quest to be done first. He will not leave if his Nature Reserve-related quest has not been completed.
How To Unlock & Upgrade The Soda Machine
Now that the Soda Recipe has been procured, players need to speak with Pekkle, who will lead them toward the Soda Machine. With the recipe, players may use it freely by combining Fizzy Crystals with other ingredients to make various sodas. Be sure to take one back to Keroppi; thus, the Soda Machine will be unlocked. To upgrade the machine and make sodas with three ingredients instead of two, players need to increase their friendship with Pekkle to level 6, which can be done by gifting his favorite gifts in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Once completed, players will have fully unlocked the Soda Machine. Currently, there are a little over ten different recipes to make with the Soda Machine, and a majority of those are just 2-ingredient recipes. Just be sure to stock up on Fizzy Ore in the mines and craft Fizzy Crystals so that the Soda Machine can be used any time it is needed in Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
