Blood Types are a class-like mechanic in iconic open-world survival power of vampire kin.
After feeding on a creature or humanoid, the player gains that entity's Blood Type in V Rising. Vampire adventurers can view what kind of Blood Type a mob has by hovering the mouse cursor over the enemy. For example, hovering the cursor over a Bandit wielding a crossbow is an entity that will likely yield the "Rogue" Blood Type. Likewise, weakening and then feeding on this prey will grant the player Rogue Blood. The Blood Type's attributes and Quality can be viewed within the Blood Pool in V Rising.
The Blood Pool is the spherical tank of Blood at the bottom center of the HUD. Hover the mouse over the icon to the left of the Blood Pool to view details regarding the Blood Type and percentage of the Blood's power in this survival indie. The higher the Quality percentage, the more substantial effect the player will receive, resulting in more unique perks becoming available.
