The Thunder Stone is a new item in new creatures to fight. One new station Vikings can craft is the Obliterator, a device used for destroying all unwanted goods.
The Obliterator is a long-requested item for Valheim, particularly because before its introduction, there was crafting the Obliterator, however, players need to get their hands on a Thunder Stone.
The Thunder Stone is one of four items needed to craft the Obliterator. The other three items are as follows:
Where To Find Thunder Stones In Valheim
Thunder Stones can be found in the Black Forest biome, the same place where collect and hoard more Coins from chests across Valheim's landscape or inside Burial Chambers.
the right world seed in Valheim will make the game's procedurally generated map much easier to navigate. After all the materials are found, players should return to their Forge to craft an Obliterator.
How To Use Thunder Stones In Valheim
Seasoned players will probably have a stockpile of the other materials needed to craft the Obliterator already, but anyone can head to the Copper Ores in a Smelter, which ironically needs Coal in order to heat up. Only one Thunder Stone is needed to craft the Obliterator.
While it's not intended to be used as a weapon, the Obliterator can inflict damage to players, enemies, and buildings if they aren't careful. Vikings should stand back a few feet and ensure nothing of importance is nearby before activating the Obliterator, otherwise, they may be struck by Thor's lightning.
The Obliterator isn't an item that needs to be acquired, but ultimately it's a great idea to seek one out as soon as possible. Coal is a valuable resource used to fuel both Valheim, so ultimately, getting rid of any unwanted items and turning them into Coal is a great way to always keep fuel available and save time and resources.
