Fade, a Radiant Bounty Hunter from Turkey, is the newest Agent in primary role in Valorant isn't to her team or deal damage but instead to make the process of tracking down adversaries as easy as possible by utilizing potent CC abilities.

To get started, Valorant players will need to have a general understanding of Fade's skills before using her to achieve victory in battle. Her first basic ability is Prowler, a breakable two-charge projectile that hurls itself at an enemy, causing temporary nearsightedness. If the Prowler does not have a target to chase, the caster can somewhat control it with their hand. This feature can be useful for inflicting enemies hiding behind walls or corners with blindness. To use Prowler effectively, players must practice with this ability to get a feel for its speed, travel time, and range.

Fade's next basic ability in Valorant is Seize, a single breakable projectile that sails through the air but drops to the ground once its timer ends. Players can proc this ability before the timer goes off to have it drop immediately. When Seize lands on the floor, it creates a circle that Deafens and tethers an enemy, pulling them back towards its center. Seize also applies Decay. This ability can be used to ensnare a fleeing enemy or protect an ally being chased down.

Haunt is Fade's signature ability that sends out a breakable orb that will search for nearby enemies, Marking them temporarily to show their last known location. Haunt is incredibly versatile and can be thrown atop walls, through windows, and on elevated platforms. Players are advised not to throw Haunt directly at an enemy but at a nearby location to catch them off guard.

Finally, Nightfall is Fade's ultimate ability in Valorant that sends out an avoidable wave across a room that Defeans, Marks, and inflicts enemies with Decay. This ability can be compared to Bloodhound's tracking ive or Seer's ultimate: Exhibit in Apex Legends. Nightfall functions as a combination of Haunt and Seize, excluding the enemy tether. To utilize Fade and her kit to their maximum potential, players are recommended to use close to medium-range weapons such as Vandal, Phantom, Spectre, or Ghost. Long-range firearms will not serve her very well since she's built to chase down enemies and not fight them from afar.
