The Kindred of Los Angeles are making the journey to Seattle, as Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is bringing a fan-favorite character back for the sequel, in the form of Damsel the Anarch. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will use a different setting from the original game, as it will be based in Seattle around Christmas time, while the original Bloodlines was based in L.A. during the summer.

Paradox Interactive has previously confirmed that characters from Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines would be returning for the sequel, but it wasn't clear who would be brought back. The fact that Bloodlines 2 follows the storyline from the new edition of Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop game means that pretty much anyone can return, as many elements of the original storyline have been retconned or changed to match the new rules.

Paradox Interactive has held a digital event called Paradox Insider, which revealed new information about games like Crusader Kings III and Empire of Sin. A trailer was released for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 that ended with the reveal of the fan-favorite character returning to the game, which can now be seen on the Paradox Interactive faction in Bloodlines 2, especially as they have become far more important in the lore of the story.

The Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop game had confirmed that Damsel is still alive, so she was a strong candidate for a returning character from BloodlinesThere are many fans who expected the Voerman sisters to appear first, as they were an important part of the promotion for the original game, but Damsel is also a great choice for a returning character. Paradox has also revealed that Damsel's original voice actor, Courtenay Taylor, will also be reprising her role in Bloodlines 2.

The footage of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 that have been released so far has been exciting, but it has been hard not to think of it as a sequel in name only. The Damsel reveal is the first major connection revealed between the two games and it's amazing to hear her voice again after waiting more than fifteen years for a sequel. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2020 and the return of one of the L.A.  Anarchs has made it even more exciting.
