VtM: Swansong lets players control three different vampires in intertwining stories. These stories play out in Telltale-style gameplay combined with elements from the tabletop game to give players a fresh experience.
Taking place in modern-day Boston, Swansong sees the three protagonists investigating an attack on a vampire party meant to bring peace between two clans. While running the course of these stories, characters will acquire "Traits"; these traits are ive buffs/penalties based on choices made by players.
Traits often appear as the player's choices, and each scene has more than one per character. However, because these traits are choice-dependent, you cannot earn every trait on a single playthrough since different choices may lead to different traits for the character in question. Some traits you will pick up as the story progresses. Some will be more elusive and require a bit more work on the player's part to solve puzzles, but, without further delay, here are the traits for Galeb in Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong and how to acquire them.
How To Unlock Galeb's Traits in Vampire the Masquerade: Swansong
- Chatterbox: Players can acquire this trait right at the start of Galeb's story when talking to Berrel Underwood. Then, if the player decides not to defend themselves from the Primogen member's questioning about Xu Feng, Chatterbox will be bestowed upon them. This gives players a -10% success rate in the case of an Intimidation tie, and unfortunately, given where Galeb's stats start at the beginning of Vampire: The Masquerade avoiding this trait is a bit tricky.
- Detective: The next trait available for Galeb is available in the second scene. Players can acquire this trait by solving the mirror phone puzzle in Jason Moore's apartment. While Galeb, operating under the guise of being FBI Agent Smith in order to maintain the Masquerade in VtM, is checking the apartment for clues, players will discover the way into the panic room. Players will receive the trait upon entering and finding an injured Jason Moore. The Detective will pay -15 to the following experience cost for Deduction.
- Make No Waves: This trait is also available in the second scene. Exfiltrating Jason Moore from the apartment without killing anyone will give this trait as a reward. Make no Waves will provide players with a + 15% success rate in Rhetoric ties.
- Library Rat: In scene six, Galeb makes his way to the east wing to find Elle Gallagher, one of the three red implant holders. Hitting the green button on the control first closes a fireproof case over a book inside the room. After hitting the green button and then the red, killing Gallagher but saving the book, the player will give them the Library Rat trait, which in turn offers -30 to the next experience cost for Wisdom.
- Censor: Also available in Scene Six, players can obtain this trait by messing with the thermostat that controls the temperature in the restoration room, forcing Joseph Manneh to come running out of his sanctuary and into a conversation with Galeb, who lives up to his Toreador heritage in Vampire: The Masquerade. Censor gives players the bonus of a -25% increase rate of suspicion.
- Burned by the True Faith: Galeb will obtain this trait at the end of scene six in his interrogation with Standford. At one point in the scene, Standford grabs a red hot poking iron and begins to stab Galeb; when this happens, the trait gained message should trigger. Burned by the True Faith gives players a -10 success rate in all Discipline ties.
- Voice of a Time Gone By: This trait is the only temporary one for Galeb. Players can get this trait in Chapter 2 through a consumable item called Quentin King's Vitae. Players can find this item by making Wyatt open the dumpsters in the parking garage. This trait generates -1 hunger per Dominate, and its effects will wear off at the end of the scene.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong is available on Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
