Warning: Spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima Episode #11

Dragon Ball Daima finally let Vegeta have a big fight against Tamagami Number Two, but the battle went awry very suddenly with the intrusion of a Kraken into the fight. Now, Vegeta is fighting for his life in a very different sort of way, and everyone is shocked that this could happen.

Episode #11 of Daima saw the group pick up a Namekian hitchhiker: the legendary Neva, creator of the Demon Realm's Dragon Balls. Neva's ability to speak Ancient Namekian will be essential to actually using the Dragon Balls, but that also means the Tamagami's creator is watching Vegeta's fight with the Tamagami. Against the Tamagami itself, Vegeta was actually faring pretty well, but when he was knocked into the water by a sudden attack, it drew the attention of the gigantic Krakens nearby, luring one to attempt to eat him. Although Vegeta escaped initially, he was knocked back and the Kraken leapt out of the water, devouring him whole.

Vegeta's First Major Fight Goes South

Vegeta Didn't Get Much Chance to Show Off

Vegeta began his fight with the Tamagami doing rather well, but thanks to the Kraken, this match has come to a premature end. It's up to Goku now to save Vegeta from the belly of the Kraken, but Goku had already warned that even he and Vegeta together might not have been able to take down one of these Kraken, at least in their child forms. These Kraken seem to be a major pest in the Second Demon World's massive ocean, attacking even planes that happen to fly too low and close to the surface of the water.

What's less clear is if the Tamagami knocked Vegeta into the Kraken's mouth on purpose. It seems to have been an accident, and the Tamagami have generally been seen battling with honor so far, so that does seem to be the most likely explanation. However, given the deceptive nature of the Tamagami's creator, it's hard to put anything fully past them.

Saving Vegeta from the Kraken's Belly

Will Vegeta Get a Rematch with the Tamagami?

Kraken eats Vegeta.

Vegeta was shown in the Kraken's belly in the next episode preview, so he's alive, but it seems like it might be difficult to free him, especially for Goku, even if Piccolo and the others help. They'll have to act quickly in order to prevent the Kraken from getting away and losing track of it, but there's still the issue of the Tamagami to contend with. Will the Tamagami see this as the end of their battle, or will it still be waiting for Vegeta to emerge to resume their fight?

While Tamagami may suddenly have become a secondary concern, it's still something that must be contended with. Even if Vegeta escapes with relative ease, he may be quite worn out from the ordeal, leaving Tamagami Number Two's defeat up to Goku alone. Will Goku's match against the Tamagami go any better than Vegeta's did? Dragon Ball Daima will have the answers for fans soon.
