Sony released the first trailer for Holland's Peter Parker will appear alongside Hardy's Eddie Brock.
Sony's Harrelson is the best guess for Carnage, though that's unconfirmed as of yet. While we get a first look at Hardy as Eddie Brock earlier this year, now Sony has released the film's first trailer.

Sony Pictures premiered the trailer for Venom, which reveals our first look at the eponymous symbiote - sort of. It was previously reported the first Venom trailer would arrive in time to be attached to Marvel Studios' Black Panther when the MCU installment hits theaters in mid-February.
Although the trailer doesn't offer a first look at Hardy as Venom - it is just a teaser trailer, after all - it does give some insight into the storyline and how Hardy will be infected with the symbiote. The voiceover narration mentions an accident, which likely refers to Brock, and we may be able to presume that's where the symbiote infects him. The accident may also refer to what appears to be the crash of an alien spaceship, which is presumably how the symbiote (or symbiotes) get to Earth. Though we don't see Venom, we do see the beginnings of Brock turning into Venom at the very end of the teaser trailer.
The teaser trailer also introduces Williams' Anne Weying, who seems to be an ex-girlfriend of Brock's, as well as Ahmed's Dr. Carlton Drake. Additionally, we get a glimpse of Life Foundation, as that will play a major role in Venom, and it appears they have the symbiote and are studying it - they also seem to be studying Brock.
All in all, the Venom teaser is light on anything that makes the film a superhero movie, and fans may be underwhelmed by that fact. We know that Sony plans to use motion capture to bring Venom to life, so it's possible the CGI wasn't ready in time for this teaser. With Venom not set to hit theaters until October, there's plenty of time for Sony to release a full trailer with Hardy as the eponymous symbiote.
