controversial Dan Schneider, Victorious follows Justice's Tori Vega, an aspiring singer, as she navigates the trials and tribulations that come with being a teenager at Hollywood Arts high school. The show was ultimately cancelled in 2013, with Justice going on to star in projects like The Outcasts (2017), Trust (2021), and A Perfect Pairing (2021).
During a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Justice is asked whether a Victorious revival could be on the cards. The star makes clear that nothing is officially in the works, but does express interest in returning. "I would, totally,” Justice said when asked about her willingness to reprise her role, “I think I would be open.”
The actor goes on to say, however, that she does wonder if Victorious is best left in the past, but generally, she seems enthusiastic about the idea. Check out her comment below:
“I mean, there’s a part of me that’s like, just let a good thing be a good thing. You don’t always have to reopen that can of worms. Maybe just like let it be nostalgic and be what it was, but at the same time, it could be fun, you know? So I could be down.
“It would be really fun to work with everyone again. It would be like such a wildly nostalgic experience for me. I think we’d have a good time. You never know!”
What Justice's Comments Mean For A Victorious Revival's Chances
Why Recent Events Make The Nickelodeon Show's Return More Complicated
Though Justice's comments are a promising sign, Nickelodeon has found itself in hot water recently due to the network's previous association with Schneider, who featured extensively in Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV (2024). The documentary alleges that Schneider, who was a powerful figure in entertainment as the creator of shows like Drake & Josh, iCarly, and Zoey 101, created an unsafe work environment for young stars as he exhibited unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. Schneider has denied the allegations against him and has sued Quiet on Set.

Dan Schneider & Amanda Bynes: Everything Revealed On Quiet On Set
Dan Schneider and Amanda Bynes don’t appear in Quiet on Set but their time at Nickelodeon is discussed amidst the toxic workplace allegations.
Victorious was part of something of a golden era for Nickelodeon, and the network has recently brought back other shows from around the same time. An iCarly sequel show aired for three seasons between 2021 and 2023, and Zoey 101 got the sequel treatment with a Zoey 102 movie. Despite the network's popularity, these recent sequel projects, and Justice's willingness to return, Schneider's involvement in Victorious as creator could be enough to kill chances of a revival.
Justice commented on the Quiet on Set revelations back in May 2024, itting complicated feelings on the matter since Schneider gave her "this big break." She its, however, that there were times she was "treated unfairly."
Our Take On A Potential Victorious Revival
Should The Nickelodeon Show Stay In The Past?
While the iCarly sequel show was generally very well-received critically, the Zoey 102 movie was not. There's always a risk that, in reviving a beloved title, the original show's memory gets tarnished. Victorious may not have been the most acclaimed or most watched Nickelodeon show, but it was relatively popular. Especially now, when it's easy for older shows to seem better than they actually were, a Victorious revival has the potential to be disappointing.
That being said, with Justice seemingly willing to return, a Victorious revival already has one key ingredient. Catching up with Tori more than a decade later could be an interesting exercise. It remains to be seen whether Victorious will actually return, but, Justice, for her part, isn't against continuing Tori's story.
