The Vitalys Crystal is a mineral resource in Disney Dreamlight Valley that is said to be "infused with life," making it capable of serving as a magical catalyst ingredient for upgrading the Royal Tools. Accordingly, during the quest with Scar, "Nature & Nurture," players are tasked with bringing life back a Lifeless Orb of Nurturing. Similar to the Gleaming Dusk Fragment of the Sunstone in Disney Dreamlight Valley, this Orb must be buried in the earth for several real-time days to regain its power.
The Orb of Nurturing is initially retrieved from a mysterious Forgotten who appears before the player protagonist after they use Extra Fizzy Root Beer and Candy to raise the water level of the nearby mines. After presenting the Orb to Merlin, the wizard states that Dreamers should concoct a Miracle Growth Elixir to imbue their Watering Can with magical power, further enhancing its capabilities. Once upgraded, the Watering Can will be able to sufficiently tend to the Lifeless Orb during the period it is buried in the ground in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Therefore, to craft this Miracle Growth Elixir in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will need three resources, one of which is Vitalys Crystals ×10. As its name implies, these crystals can be found within the mineshaft tunnels of the Vitalys Mines, an underground location that players will have visited during the "Nature & Nurture" quest.
Finding Vitalys Crystals in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To find Vitalys Crystals in Disney Dreamlight Valley, enter the Plateau Mine; the entrance is located at the mouth of the river in the Sunlit Plateau biome, west of the Plaza. Inside, players will find a curious-looking colorful stone with glowing streaks of blue and turquoise. These pillar-shaped boulders are the nodes that yield Vitalys Crystals. Keep in mind that one node might only produce a single crystal, meaning players will need to mine several before accumulating the required ten.
To potentially increase the mineral yield of Vitalys Crystals in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players are encouraged to bring a Villager with a high Friendship level and Mining Skill. This will grant Dreamers the chance to receive an extra bounty of resources when mining the crystals' nodes in the Vitalys Mines. After collecting ten, players can then gather the other two materials to make the Miracle Growth Elixir. After using the potion on their Watering Can, they must then bury the Lifeless Orb of Nurturing in the Valley for a few days and water the soil plot when needed. Players can know that the Orb is ready to be retrieved once the red droplet map icon no longer appears above the Orb's location in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
