Netflix's brand-new movie, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl has earned a rare and almost perfect Rotten Tomatoes Popcornmeter score.
Aside from introducing Shaun the Sheep, who would go on to have his own spinoffs created by Aardman Studios, A Close Shave sees the opposite plot of Vengeance Most Fowl. In that movie, it's Gromit who's arrested and actually gets sentenced to life in prison before Wallace breaks him out. Wallace never actually gets arrested in the new film, but it's funny to see him framed like his canine companion.

By all s, Vengeance Most Fowl is a faithful follow-up to the Wallace & Gromit movie franchise, including multiple references to previous films. Aside from Feathers McGraw returning from The Wrong Tros, Chief Inspector Mackintosh was also in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Inventions from previous movies are integrated into the plot; the diamond from The Wrong Tros is a major plot point again, and there are other small references, like the farmer from A Close Shave appearing during the boat chase sequence.
